Congratulations to Selstar Fireworks

Selstar Fireworks, from Sussex, won the 2007 British Firework Championships in Plymouth.

Selstar beat Star Fireworks from Bracknell, reigning Scottish Champions Blast Design Fireworks, Pendragon Fireworks, who are the current Welsh Champions, Viking Fireworks from Kent and Nottingham’s1st Galaxy fireworks to win the coveted trophy.

Despite awful weather conditions for setting-up on the first day, the skies cleared to, once again, give the tens of thousands of spectators two spectacular nights of fireworks.

The final result was:

  1. Selstar Fireworks
  2. 1st Galaxy Fireworks
  3. Blast Design Fireworks

As a result of their victory, Selstar Fireworks becom the first entrant for the 2012 Champion of Champions Event.

The 2008 Championships take place on 12th and 13th August 2008 in Plymouth and feature five qualifying heats for the North, Central and Southern English regions along with the Welsh National and Scottish National Championships.
