SelStar Fireworks have been crowned the Champion of Champions in this year’s British Firework Championships, in partnership with Associated British Ports.
SelStar Fireworks, from West Sussex, were the first pyrotechnic company on the second evening of the championships and were clear winners of the event scoring an impressive 121.00 from the judging panel.

BBB Fireworks from East Sussex, were named as runners up while 1st Galaxy Fireworks finished in third place.
The teams were judged on the quality of their performance, compliance with brief, symmetry, patterns and timing plus the overall artistic impression of the display.
Ollie Griffin collected the runner-up and Young People's Choice Award for BBB Fireworks
BBB Fireworks were named winners of the Young People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Plymouth Citybus. The award presents an opportunity for up to ten local care experienced children and young people to be involved in the judging process, as they gave the judges their scores based on four categories: variety of fireworks and sequences, rhythm of the display, use of colour and the wow factor.

The British Firework Championships is hosted each year by Plymouth City Council in partnership with TESA.
