A no fly zone is in place with The Civil Aviation Authority between 13:00 UTC (14:00 BST) and 22:00 UTC (23:00 BST) on each day beginning with 12 August 2026 and ending on 13 August 2026.
1. The British Fireworks Championships will take place in Plymouth, Devon on the 12 and 13 August 2026. The Secretary of State for Transport has decided that it is necessary on the grounds of safety to introduce Restriction of Flying Regulations under Article239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016.

2. Subject to paragraph 3, between 1300 hours and 2200 hours on 12 and 13 August 2026 no unmanned aircraft is to fly below 1200 FT AMSL within the area bounded by:

3 Paragraph 2 does not apply to any unmanned aircraft:
a) b) flying with a permission issued by the Plymouth City Council Senior Events Officer; or operated by or on behalf of Devon and Cornwall Police.
